Our "Signature Series" portraits represent the finest
quality that our studio has to offer. This series of portraits
was created for those of you who wanted much more than just
a photograph but a piece of art that transcends the boundaries
of traditional photography. We create these portraits for our
most discriminating of clients who demand the very best that
life has to offer. If I'm right...and I know I am...you don't
settle for second best. You don't buy your clothes at the Thrift
Shop and you don't drive the cheapest car. For you, "fine dinning"
is not a meal at the local greasy spoon.
These portraits are the finest that we have to offer in regards
to quality and creativity and they are separated into four different
categories:
Heirloom
Your portrait is superbly mounted onto canvas and then enhanced
with artist's oils and subtle brushstrokes. This oil-based texture
is reminiscent of the great painters of the past. It is finished
with a rich lacquer for added brilliance and protection. It
is designed to be a true centerpiece that anyone will be proud
to display as part of your home decor.
Victorian Pastels
These delicately hand coloured portraits reflect the romantic
images of the past in a contemporary, impressionistic style.
It is a style that is particularly well suited in capturing
the essence of childhood. Starting with a delicate black and
white portrait our artist applies dyes and pastels to create
the look of a photograph combined with the advanced techniques
of hand colouring.
Monet
For those desiring a more creative interpretation of their portrait
session this particular style was designed with you in mind.
Combining the techniques of modern photography with the Impressionistic
Painters of the past these portraits are truly a work of art.
A portrait such as this is sure to capture the attention and
imagination of anyone entering the room where it is displayed
with pride.
Watercolor
Created
using both traditional and non traditional photographic techniques
these portraits are for those individual looking for an alternative
to canvas bonding. Instead of bonding your portrait to the more
traditional artist's canvas a contemporary watercolor paper
is used instead. After the bonding process is complete our artist
further enhances your image with oils and pastels for a personalized
art piece. As a final touch to this style of portraiture your
image can be mounted and framed in such a way that it is truly
a work of contemporary art.
In addition to creating watercolor portraits for our clients
we also have a collection of fine art watercolor prints that
are offered for sale. These images are from Joe's personal collection
of award winning nature and scenic photographs. As time allows
we will be expanding this section in the near future.
